Dr Hum is a Senior Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, specialising in geriatric and palliative care.

She is also Director of Programme Dignity, Singapore’s first palliative home care programme for patients living with advanced dementia. 

She co-edited the book ‘The Bedside Palliative Medicine Handbook’, which serves as a practical guide to palliative medicine. 

Prof Andy Hau Yan HO, PhD, EdD, MFT, is Provost’s Chair Professor of Psychology, Professor of Psychology and Medicine at the School of Social Sciences and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, as well as Founding Director of the Action Research for Community Health (ARCH) Laboratory, at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore. He is also Deputy Director (Research) of PalC, President of the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA), Past President of the Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC), and Fellow of the prestigious International Work Group on Death, Dying and Bereavement (IWGDDB).

He specialises in the research and teaching of public health palliative care, life and death education, psychosocial gerontology, holistic therapy and community empowerment. He has produced numerous public health campaigns and short film documentaries, as well as authored over 70 books, chapters, research reports and articles in prominent journals.

He is the first Asian recipient of the esteemed ADEC Academic Educator Award in 2018. 

Dr Chia is a Senior Consultant at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) Department of Palliative Medicine.

She has a deep interest in medical education, and is the Principal Lead for Palliative Medicine at the NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. She is also a clinical tutor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. In addition, she is a tutor and team member of the ongoing inaugural collaboration between TTSH, Singapore International Foundation, Yunnan New Kun Hua Hospital, and the Yunnan Health and Development Research Association, to improve palliative care in Yunnan, China.
